Everyone who looks into their family history will eventually find a secret, and Gillian had just found hers.

She flicked through the piles of old photos. They went all the way back to the eighteenth century, showing a variety of family gatherings through the decades – scores of great-aunts and grandparents and second cousins thrice removed. And in every photo, the colours fading to sepia and into then black and white, was her Uncle Glen.

There were two possibilities Gillian could think of. Either there were dozens of people in her family who were identical, or Uncle Glen was a vampire.
