“Give me one good reason why I should wear a dress,” Gregory said stubbornly.
“Debbie, please, not tonight. You promised you’d be good.”
“I will be good, I just don’t see why I have to wear a stupid dress.” Gregory pulled out a pair of black trousers and a shirt from his wardrobe. “What about these? They’e smart.”
“How about some colour?” His mum took out a green dress. “I got you this for Christmas and you haven’t worn it yet.”
“Yeah, because I hate wearing dresses.”
Gregory’s mum sighed. “Fine, wear what you want. We’re leaving in twenty minutes.”
